Brecon YFC Club Report 2009 - 2010

April 2009

Four full cars of members took part in our annual Easter egg hunt, an enjoyable night was had by all members.

May 2009

The club took part in the Athletics at the Leisure Centre whilst some members had an enjoyable time on the YFC AGM which was held in Blackpool.

June 2009

We headed to the YFC rally in our wellies which was hosted by Llandefalle YFC, all members took part and an pleasurable day was had by all.

July 2009

Club members took part in a sponsored walk up Pen y Fan. Later in the month came the Royal Welsh Show with many of our members attending.

August 2009

We had a quiet month during August, preparing for the new YFC year.

September 2009

We held our annual AGM with Rach Price taking over as club chairman and we gained 10 new members. We organised a trip to Oakwood Theme Park with Rach, Beulah and Rob daring to go on Vertigo.

October 2009

We held an enjoyable YFC Halloween Party and I am sure that half of our members still had their masks on from last year!

November 2009

We held an entertaining Wii night in the Rugby Club for our new members and we were also invited to watch Sennybridge YFC's firework display.

December 2009

This was a very successful year for the club as we were awarded a Youth Grant for £460, going towards a Digital Camera, hoodies and new equipment. We also held a Whist Drive which raised £150.00.

January 2010

Despite the heavy snow we continued to practise for the one plus competition and for the first time in many years, entered the Senior Drama competition.

February 2010

We held our annual pancake night which got messy but was great fun and all our members are still well so Rach and Babz's cooking mustn't have been that bad! It was great to welcome more new members too.

March 2010

Our club visited Quakers in Newbridge-on-Wye early in the month, followed by a litter pick and our annual Easter egg hunt, the club are now in preparation for the 2010 Rally.
