Sennybridge YFC Club Report 2009 - 2010

Last year has finished, now for the report,

A tale of fun, frolics and frought,

The rally hosted by Llandefalle,

For YFC fun it was the place to be.

Scrapbook, shearing, main ring display,

Success was gained, on that rainy day,

Everyone competed, with Hwyl, â Sbri,

Then off to the dance to party with Rhi !

At the Royal Welsh Show we did our best,

Our somersaults and juggling were put to the test,

At the end of the day, we gained first place,

So off to the members we all did race!

Carcase, stock judging, lamb judging galore,

Competitions and Field day, we took part in them all,

Winter fair was good, although very cold,

Members paraded their sheep, and all were sold.

Down to Craig-Y-Nos through the snow,

For our dinner we all did go,

Awards were won for those who did well,

Dancing and drinking, with ghost stories to tell.

Christmas party, festive cheer,

The wine was flowing, so was the beer!

Carol singing, bad weather too,

Not many turned up because of the flu.

February time dramas begin,

It's time to show off, act, dance and sing,

With members on stage, making fools of themselves,

Not like last year dressed up like elves.

On the bus, we all will go,

To the AGM, with lots of strongbow,

Meetings all day, partying all night,

Look out Torquay, Brecknock are in sight.

Thanks to club leaders, family and friends,

For helping us out, even on weekends,

Now the future is bright, within YFC,

So Come and join us, at Pontsenni.
