Sennybridge YFC Club Report 2010-2011
Our season started at Rhi's Chairmans Ball
A pleasant evening that was enjoyed by all
Everyone enjoyed a drink and a dance
With John Phillips strutting around in his pants
At Brecon Market we gained prizes-twas no shock
In Sennybridge we really know our stock
In Welsh Public Speaking Elin Isobel and Rhodri excelled
Not only winning at 'County' but as Wales as well
Off to the High School for Competitions Day
With Linzi, Nicola, Elin and Hay
Battling the Elements was this year's theme
And the Chemistry Lab worked like a dream
Up to the Eisteddfod to sing in the choir
Under the baton of Lynne Bryer
We all enjoyed with lots of 'Hwyl' and 'Spree'
Everyone at home watched on S4C
David, Beth & Dyf did the speaking and really had fun
At the Castle Hotel they actually won
Bingo, Bowling and Golf Range we've tried them all
No sign of a buggy, should have given Andy Powell a call
For the Poultry Whist we had Evan as M.C
The weather was bleak and very icy
Around Cwmcamllais our carols we sang
At Crai the Party and fireworks went off with a bang
Our Entertainment Theme was Candy Land
When every club members looked really grand
Everyone was dressed as asweet
Bertie and his allsorts they looked a treat
The mint selection boys didn't want to be boxed in
When they actually esaped they made quite a din
Captain Kit Kat lost his cool and got uptight
After the Mints and the allsorts got into a fight
The four One Plus entries did exceptionally well
When we has two seconds it was just swell
Sophie's rendering of 'Angels' was just ace
With scarecrows Dyf, Beth and Rhys it was watch this space
Candy Land came home a third award
Which pleased the auidience who gave rapturous applause
The concert at Sennybridge was packed to the rafters
Heidi, Beth and Ritchie came home with the bafters
At the Hedging Match the boys sharpened their saws
John, Steve, Gwyl and Eif top scores
The Rally is looming our competitors we will pick
As we prepare to compete down in Bwlch and Crick
Thanks to Club leaders, Parents and Friends
