7th January 2010
A festive time was enjoyed by all on the 9th December when Bwlch and Crickhowell YFC had their Christmas Draw. The evening included minced pies and warmed mulled wine.
A representative from the invaluable Wales Air Ambulance service was a guest at the evening and a cheque in the sum of £1,000.00 was presented to the organisation. The club had raised this money by hosting a very successful "Promise Auction" in August. The club extends its thanks to all those who took part by way of donating promises and making bids. The Members decided that the Air Ambulance Service was a very worthy charity which need to raise over £5 million per year to operate the service, over £1,200 per day is needed to cover the running of daily missions. Many lives have been saved by this service and it is imperative that its dedication and efficiency is maintained.
