The FUW Bursary is aimed, specifically, to assist full-time students starting a University or College of Further Education during September 2010 to study an agriculture or agriculture related subject.
There will in fact be three bursaries this year:-

First Bursary - £700.00

Second Bursary - £200.00

Third Bursary - £100.00
It is a condition of the award that the three final canditates for the award attend an interview to discuss their submission in the weeks leading up to the 2010 Winter Fair.
It is also a condition of the award that the three final candidates attend the 2010 Winter Fair on the first day, being Monday 29th, November, when the announcement will be made of the names of the receipients and the presentation of the bursary cheques will also take place.

The bursary can only be awarded to a student living in Wales, although the student may be studying a course at a University or college or further education outside Wales.
