Brecknock Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (YFC) held their Annual Stockjudging competitions on Sunday 3rd October 2010 at Brecon Livestock Market kindly sponsored by NFU Cymru. Competitors had to place and give reasons on four beef cattle, four dairy cows and four lambs. The Pig judging was held on a separate day. For each category of stock ten minutes is allowed for the judging of stock, and a maximum of two minutes is allowed for competitors to give a set of verbal reasons to the judge. Competitors compete in their respective age categories, 26, 21, 18 and 16 years of age or under. 
Competitors were competing for the overall trophies in each age group. The Evan Morgan Shield, for the Stockman of the Year 26 years or under was awarded to Owen Watkins YFC, Llanigon YFC; The Sennybridge YFC Trophy, for the Stockman of the Year 21 years or under was awarded to John Price, Sennybridge YFC; The Special Award Trophy, for the Stockman of the Year 18 years or under was awarded to Aled R Jones, Troedrhiwdalar YFC and The Robert Davies Trohpy, for the Stockman of the Year 16 years or under was awarded to Eifion Phillips, Sennybridge YFC.
