Wales YFC are asking members and supporters of the organisation to collect Tesco for Schools and Club vouchers to enable the organisation to purchase some equipment to support the Social Education programme.
The Social Education programme aims to provide skills, recreational opportunities and confidence to YFC members in a wide range of areas, especially rural skills, Welsh culture, sport and traditional crafts. As one of the eight programmes of the work the social education programme will provide a relevant activities programme, maintain close links with the agricultural industry, encourage participation by member, develop the educational value of the activities programme and provide young people with new means of self expression.
Vouchers will be in Tesco stores from Monday the 28th February until Sunday the 8th of May and Wales YFC will be collecting the vouchers at forthcoming events namely the Entertainment Feast in Swansea, the Public Speaking Day at the Royal Welsh Showground and the Field Day to be held at Welshpool Market. Vouchers can also be posted to YFC Centre, Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells, Powys, LD2 3NJ.
