It is the Competitions Committee’s wish that the Winter Programme structure is reviewed for 2011/2012.  The two enclosed options are only in draft format and nothing has been agreed as yet.  All feedback required at the YFC Office by Thursday 21^st April 2011 (same day as Rally entry form).

 Option 1 you will see is the same format as previous years.

 Option 2 you will see has several changes to note;

1. Field Day – being taken back to its original format with more agricultural based competitions being held all on one day.  The proposed venue would be Brecon Livestock Market.   Competitions to be spread out from 9.30am to 4pm.  No public Speaking.
2. Competitions Day – change of venue to Royal Welsh Showground.  No public speaking.   Brecon High School no longer available.
3. Public Speaking – proposal to hold two separate days/evenings and group one senior and one junior competition.
4. Indoor Games – to hold on two separate evenings to reduce cost of venue hire.  It is felt this may benefit entries as club’s struggle currently to get teams due to the competition being held on a Sunday.
5. Efficiency with Safety – moved to Field Day not to clash with lambing

 All dates and venues are not set in stone – it is your programme and it is important that as member’s you contribute to the programme structure and take ownership of the events.
