County AGM

Sunday, the Federation held their Annual General Meeting at the Greyhound Hotel, Builth Wells. Our outgoing President Gethin Havard handed over the reins to our newly elected President Mr Robert Healey and Mr Gwyn Protheroe was elected as Deputy President. Outgoing Chairman Leanne Troedrhiwdalar YFC stepped down from her role and on behalf of the Federation we would like to sincerely thank Leanne for all her support and hard work over the last twelve months. Niall Builth Wells YFC was elected as County Vice Chairman.

Over the last twelve months, Leanne raised a total of £11,105.00 for her chosen charities, the DPJ Foundation and the Welsh Air Ambulance, to whom both charities are very close to our heart and crucial for our rural communities.  

Early September we held our Sub Committees Annual General Meetings at the Brecon Rugby Club. Stephen Libanus YFC was elected as Fundraising & Events Vice Chairman. Sian Pontfaen YFC was elected as Competition chairman and Baden Libanus YFC elected as Vice. Ellen Sennybridge YFC was elected as the new Welsh Language Development officer and Ffern Llandefalle YFC as her deputy. Craig Erwood YFC was elected as Youth Forum Chairman and Isabel Ystradfellte YFC as vice. Elin Troedrhiwdalar YFC was elected a Rural Affairs Chairman with Jamie Llandefalle YFC as her vice.

Thank you to all outgoing officers for your support and dedication towards the YFC movement, we would like to wish our newly appointed officers the best of luck for the forth coming year.
