Brecknock Wins Welsh Winter Fair 2023

On Monday and Tuesday members across the county represented the Federation at the Welsh Winter Fair. The standard was outstanding across the board with members gaining individual awards and Brecknock YFC winning overall at this year’s Winter Fair.

Members also competed in the Baby Beef and Prime Pork competition, congratulations to the following members on once again producing outstanding stock and showing the quality of stock that is produced in Brecknockshire.

Ryan Erwood YFC won the Best Heifer class and winning the Overall Supreme Champion in the YFC Baby Beef competition.

Rose Pontfaen YFC took Reserve Champion in the Prime Pork competition and won the Best Single Pig in the competition.

A big mention should also go to Chris a member of Llandefalle YFC for winning the overall Supreme Champion in the RWAS open section, congratulations Chris on your memorable and outstanding achievement.
