County Harvest Festival

Yesterday Brecknock YFC held their annual County Harvest Festival at St Matthews Church Llandefalle. On behalf of the federation, we would like to take this opportunity and thank Catriona Charlesworth and all the members who took the service, organist David Price, Llandefalle YFC for providing the refreshments and a huge thank you must go to all the clubs who donated a Food Hamper to Brecon Food Bank.

Double win at NFYFC Stock Judging Finals

Sunday Chloe Trecastle YFC and Rhian Pontfaen YFC traveled to Derbyshire to compete in the National Federation of Young Farmers Stock Judging finals.

County Chairman's Challenges - COMPLETED

Our county Chairman Emma Rees completed her third and final challenge this weekend. Here journey started back in April where she completed her first challenge ‘The Great Welsh Marathon’. In June she then completed the Welsh Three Peaks and finish off this weekend with the Great Brecknock Cycle.

Brecknock YFC wins Wales YFC Field Day

Saturday members from across the county traveled to Ruthin Livestock Market to compete in the Wales YFC Field Day, nine competitions were held with full entries from Brecknock with some outstanding individual results which lead to Brecknock YFC to winning overall. The federation have not won overall since 1998, congratulations to all involved.
