Stock Judging Day

Yesterday Brecknock YFC held their Annual Stock Judging Day at Brecon Livestock Market by the kind permission of McCartneys Auctioneers.

Was great to see so many members competing, especially in the junior section. The standard was outstanding right across the board so congratulations to you all.

On behalf of the Federation, we would like to thank our judges, our stock providers for once again providing us with outstanding stock.

We would also like to thank our Stewards, timekeepers, and county officials for ensuring the day ran smoothly. Thank you to our main sponsors Hay & Brecon Framers and NFU Cymru competition day sponsors for their continued support. Finally, a big thank you must go to you the members, parents, and trainers for taking part.

Congratulations to Connie, Pontfaen YFC for winning overall Stock Judging day 16 years and under, Dafydd, Beulah YFC winning overall Stock Judging day 18 years and under, Cerys, Sennybridge YFC, winning overall Stock Judging Day 21 years and under and Elin, Sennybridge YFC winning overall Stock Judging Day 28 years and under. Ifan Trecastle YFC also went on to win the Caleb Roberts Trophy for the overall Junior Stock Judger of the year and Elin Sennybridge YFC winning the FUW Trophy for the overall Senior Stock Judger of the year.
