Strong Showing from Trecastle YFC at GENSB Competition

Congratulations, Trecastle Young Farmers Tug of War Club!

What an achievement! Over the weekend, Trecastle YFC proudly flew the Welsh flag at the GENSB Tug of War Competition in the Netherlands, one of the biggest international youth tug of war competitions. Not only did members from Trecastle compete but also Pontfaen and Sennybridge as well at this huge event.

Competing against 35 teams of talented youngsters from across the World, they showed incredible teamwork, determination, and spirit—securing a fantastic 19th place overall.

You’ve not only done yourselves proud, but also the Welsh Tug of War Association and the Local Communities.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved—what an experience and what a way to represent Wales/ County on the international stage!
