Brecknock YFC Annual Achievement Day 2025

On Saturday, Brecknock YFC proudly hosted its Annual Achievement Day at Hafod y Hendre, situated on the Royal Welsh Showground. The event brought together nearly 200 members, who competed across a wide range of competitions — showcasing an impressive array of skills, dedication, and talent. The standard across all categories was exceptionally high, reflecting the hard work and enthusiasm of our members.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who helped make the day such a success — including our dedicated judges, stewards, and county officials, who generously volunteered their time to ensure the event ran smoothly. Our thanks also extend to Wales YFC and the Royal Welsh Showground for the use of their excellent facilities, and to Hay & Brecon Farmers for their continued and valued support of the movement.

Congratulations to all members who took part — your effort, teamwork, and commitment were truly commendable. We wish the very best of luck to those who will now go on to represent Brecknock in the forthcoming rounds of competition.

A special congratulations to Sennybridge YFC, who were awarded the prestigious Mrs Phillippa Gough Overall Trophy for their outstanding achievements.
