Royal Welsh Winter Fair Success for Brecknock
On Monday and Tuesday, members from across the county showcased their fantastic skills at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair, where competition was once again fierce. We’re proud to share that Brecknock secured an outstanding second place overall at this year’s event.

Brecknock also achieved an incredible 2nd place overall in the Stock Judging Competitions at the Winter Fair — a fantastic result and a testament to the hard work and dedication of all who took part.
A special well done to Megan from Erwood YFC, who placed 6th in the Prime Lamb Competition with her Hill Lambs, and to Iwan from Trecastle YFC, who competed in the Prime Pork Competition, winning Best Individual and placing 2nd in the pairs.
Finally, congratulations to all members who took part in the open competitions throughout the two days. It was wonderful to see both current and past members achieving so much at this year’s Winter Fair.
