Brecknock YFC Annual Achievement Day 2024
Held at Hafod Y Hendre, Royal Welsh Showground
On Sunday 20th October, we held our annual Stock Judging Day at Brecon Livestock Market by the kind permission of McCartneys Auctioneers.
On Monday 14th October Brecknock YFC held their annual carcass judging competition by the kind permission of W J George Butchers, Talgarth
On Sunday, October 13th, Brecknock YFC held their Sheep Dog Trials and Lamb Trimming competition at Pentwyn, Llanbedr, with the kind permission of Mr. Alan Rees and his family.
On Sunday, October 6th, members from across the county gathered at the Guild Hall in Brecon for the Annual Eisteddfod, featuring Welsh Reading for under 14โs and English Public Speaking 14 years of age or under.
Friday 4th October, Brecknock YFC held their Annual General Meeting and Awards Presentation Evening in Llangynidr Hall, Crickhowell.
Fun was had by all at the annual "Have a Go" competition on Friday, September 27th, held at Maescar Hall in Sennybridge.

Saturday Brecknock YFC held their 78th Annual Rally at Cwmbryn, Beulah by the kind permission of Mr & Mrs Gwyn Protheroe & Family, host club Troedrhiwdalar YFC.
Following a very busy and successful Winter Competitions calendar, we now have the overall results.
Congratulations to Pontfaen YFC on winning overall and winning the John De Winton Cup.
Congratulations to Builth Wells YFC for gaining second place and will now go forward and represent Wales at the NFYFC Finals on the 20th April alongside the winning team Gelligaer YFC from Glamorgan county.

Royal Welsh Winter Fair will be on the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th November 2024.
The Brecknock Federation of Young Farmers Clubs is concerned with the personal development of young people and seeks to achieve its objectives through a wide range of programmes which the members have the responsibility for designing and management of the delivery.
